Our all day wedding event has always been that little bit special, and this year is no exception. We are pleased to welcome Kevin Wilson FBIPP, who is undoubtably, one of the UK's premier Wedding photographers.

Along with a presentation of Kevin's recent work and projects, there will be a Bride and Groom on hand for a practical shoot in this fabulous location.

Kevin holds no less than 7 Fellowships, the latest being in Wedding photography More details to follow. His approach and style is simply, great photography, with particular attention to composition and lighting. For those who attended our last seminar with Bella West, this is the natural follow on as Kevin has mentored Bella throughout her career to gaining her fellowship.

Some may ask "Why Bude?" We have decided to move away from the more central locations for this event, to try something that little bit different. The castle itself is within walking distance to the beach, which should provide some interesting backdrops and give us the inspiration we need to forge ahead in the coming season.

Special rates with a local hotel for accomodation should anybody wish to stay over. Kevin will be staying over the night before, and anyone wishing to join will be more than welcome. Full details below.

AGM

The AGM of the Western Region will take place on 28th June 2010 at 12.30

The AGM will be held during the Lunch break . Members who do not wish to

attend the seminar are entitled to attend the AGM. There is no charge for attending

the AGM but should you want to join us for the buffet lunch, this must be booked

and pre paid in advance and costs £15.00.

Hotel deal for Sunday night. LIMITED AVAILABILITY
If you are arriving on Sunday and staying over before the seminar the Edgecombe Hotel, (which over looks the beach), has offered us double rooms inc breakfast at £50 (£25 per person). Bring the family! If your Kids are pre-school age, have a mini break, let them spend a day on the beach while you enjoy the seminar.

Beach Social Sunday Night (Weather permitting)

Anybody staying over Sunday night will be welcome to a BBQ on the beach. Summerleaze beach and dunes make a great location for a get together and informal chat. Come along and meet with Kevin Wilson and the Western regional committee. Bring your own food/beer and join in. In the event of poor weather, we will look to arrange a buffet or meal within the hotel for those interested.

Exhibition

Two of the UK's leading professional landscape photographers Mark Bauer and Ross Hoddinott Photography are hosting an exhibition at The Castle, Bude, Cornwall ; beginning Monday 31st May until Sunday 27th June 2010 but is being held over so we can enjoy the beautiful images . The exhibition will showcase some of Mark and Ross's best images of the South West of England, with a particular focus on Cornwall and the local area.
