A day at David McGirr's studio in Warminster where the focus will be on Portraiture. Members will be split into groups on arrival as more than one talk will take place at once.
Numbers are strickly limited so please book ASAP to ensure a place.
Studio Portraiture.
David, assisted by the committee will guide you through a practical session that will focus on lighting and posing. We will have some "real life" kids (not models) to photograph and look closley at how to get he best out of them creating images that not only sell, but provide sparkle.The set up in david's studio allows photographs to be captured from differing areas, using different walls and surfaces with minimum change of lighting both in high & low key . David will tell it as it is, keeping things managable and simple. This will be very much a hands on session.
Proselect Software.
Phil Flowers will be giving a complete rundown of this powerful piece of software that we should all be using. Pete Bristo touched on it very briefly at our last seminar and everybody was intrigued. Phil will showcase the complete sofware package in detail that will change the way you view and sell your portraits.
Photolist.
Matthew Clavey will be on site to advise on websites, the internet and databases using software such as Filemaker and dreamweaver. Visit www.photolist.net to see how this photographic community has grown.
A buffet lunch at the local pub is included in the cost.
